Conditions maintained within the cellar are surperb for mature fine wine, temperature kept steady at 50 degrees during my entire day-long visit. The collection was accumulated for the noble purpose of drinking rather than investment, the extensive selection of half-bottle lots no doubt attest to this fact. Many of the wines herein are original purchases and have lain in this cellar since release. A meticulous inspection offered the first ray of light many of these wines have seen since leaving the châteaux all those many years ago.
