Collation: [1-9 10 10-11 8 12-14 10 15-16 8 (1/1 blank, 1/2r-7/7r Annales books XI-XVI, 7/7v-16/8r Historiae , 16/8v blank); 17 10 (17/1r Germania , 17/10 blank); 18-19 8 (18/1r Dialogus de oratoribus , 19/7v-8 blank)]. 175 (of 178, without blank 1/1, 17/10, 19/8) leaves. 36 lines. Type 1:110R 3 . Guide-letters, catchwords on every leaf, spaces for Greek. First 6-line initial in gold on blue ground with extension of white-vine decoration, a matching border in lower margin added probably in the late-18th century, other 6-line initials in red or blue (the blue faded), pages ruled in red. (First leaf torn at foot, extending into 2 lines of text, repaired in pen and ink facsimile and with decoration supplied, clean tear in fo. 96 affecting a few letters, small marginal wormholes in first few leaves, marginal repair and stain on fo.49, some browning in margins of last leaf.) Gold-tooled green morocco over pasteboard, roll-tools and fillets on covers, spine tooled in compartments, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges, silk pink ribbon marker, (stain on front cover), by Bradel l'aîné, with his ticket on front free endpaper.
