SWISS VERY FINE AND RARE PINK GOLD AND ENAMEL FIVE AUTOMATON OPENFACE MANUALLY-WOUND TWO TRAIN CYLINDER POCKET WATCH, MADE FOR THE CHINESE MARKET NO. 8065, CIRCA 1820 Finely engraved and chased two train cylinder movement, engraved gilt cuvette, finely painted polychrome enamel dial depicting a classical landscape, three-coloured gold sculptured automaton scene featuring three cherubs making and sharpening their arrows, sometimes referred to as the "Forge of Love", the cherub on the left moving his arm and leg, the central cherub moving his arm and the cherub on the right also moving his arm activating the bellows to the roaring furnace, eccentric small white enamel hour dial with Breguet numerals, champleve enamel garlands of flowers to both sides, gold case, the automaton scene activated by a small lever in the band, cuvette bearing the signature Breguet and numbered Diameter: 55 mm.
