ORIGINAL PRINTED WRAPPERS (spines reinforced with transparent gauze, bottom margins of vol. 2 cut close, a few small stains on front cover of vol. 2); half morocco slipcase. Provenance : Walter Chrysler (bookplates on inner front wrappers); Paul Hyde Bonner (bookplates in slipcase chemise); Mary Pinkerton Carlisle (bookplates in slipcase chemise). FIRST EDITION, IN THE ORIGINAL WRAPPERS: BAL BINDING A, later printings, with errors corrected. All printings are EXTREMELY RARE IN THE WRAPPERS.
