Created at Fawley Bottom Farmhouse, possible prototype for the set of Four Seasons, glazed by Jean-Paul-Landreau of Fulham Pottery Ltd, signed verso and dated 82, and inscribed Fulham Pottery. 16.5 x 16cm. Provenance: gifted by the artist to Fraser MacRae, the director of the Fulham Pottery Limited in the time Piper was working on this and other pieces. From there gifted to the vendor. Following the artists time working in conjunction with the Fulham Pottery there was an exhibition of his works 'New Ceramics' at Dan Klein Ltd, London in November 1982.
