Copy No. 3 of 250 copies, signed and numbered by the artist. This copy with an additional inscription and drawing from Wilson at the colophon, to his friend and fellow artist Davey Moore, dated May 1995. The original ink and color drawing is of the Checkered demon hitting on an Irish woman. Spots. Wrappers. Last Gasp, 1989. Signed and inscribed to Davey Moore from S. Clay Wilson on the copyright page. The Art of S. Clay Wilson. Red cloth, dust jacket. First Printing. Ten Speed Press, [2006]. With a laid in post card invitation to the release of this book, inscribed to Davey Moore (not signed) but clearly in S. Clay Wilson's hand in multi-colored ink. Bastard. Black cloth. Futuropolis, [1984]. Inscribed to David, and signed by S. Clay Wilson on verso of front free endpaper, dated 1987. An issue of Juxtapoz: Art & Culture Magazine, with an article about S. Clay Wilson, illustrating some of his art within. April 2006, Issue #63. A copy of an illustration by S. Claw Wilson of the Checkered Demon's face. Dated July 2, 1998. This was apparently faxed to Davey Moore, because Wilson could not reach him by phone, so instead he sent him a drawing of the demon with a word bubble that reads, "Yo Davey...tried to call you but your home phone is one of them cursed fax machines... My C. Demon book is now in hot little twitching hands..wanna draw tonight? Be more fun than an A.A. Meeting." Great collection of six S. Clay Wilson items, all but the last two are signed by him. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine or nearly so. Item number: 248772
