On the pages are 16 mostly typed letters signed by politicians, etc. Includes materials from the following: : 2 Herbert Hoover TLs. 1936 and 1940; 4 Wendell Wilkie TLs. Years of 1940, 1941 and 1943; Frank Merriam, Lt. Governor CA. TLs, 1938; San Francisco Mayor, James Rolph Jr.; Major Ed Bowes 1939 TLs. (Host Amateur Hour); Ruth Bryan Owen 1937 TLs. (daughter of Wm. Jennings Bryan and Congresswoman); Amos Alonzo Stagg, 1942 TLs. (football, basketball coach); Wallace Beery autograph on paper; Hiram Johnson, CA Senator, 1940 TLs. Earl Warren as CA. Governor 1950 TLs;. Robert Taft, Ohio Senator, 1940 TLs; Styles Bridges, NH Senator, 1940 TLs; Helen Keller, TLs. 1943 (secretarial); and a Herbert Hoover and a Herbert Hoover Jr. both signed on album page. Other material in scrapbook consists of news clippings of political nature, photographs and other letters, all relating to Charles Segerstrom and his position as a Republican convention delegate and activist, mostly thanking him for his help in the elections. From the scrap book/guest album of the Charles Segerstrom family of Sonora, California. Lot Amendments Condition: Scrapbook pages loose, but intact, and all the letters in very good condition and are tipped in on the top of each. Item number: 221752
