Some photos captioned in the negative, some with captions inked in margins, many without captions. Photographers include J.B. Moller, Pillsbury Picture Co., and C.P. Magagnos. Very interesting and unusual collection of earthquake photos with many candid images of people engaged in the normalization of life during crisis; eating, waiting in lines, socializing - all against a backdrop of ruin, as well as the familiar gripping scenes of damage and destruction. Lot Amendments Condition: Covers detached and spine portion missing,1 photo quite faded, another with crease to corner, else all very good with almost no silvering or fading Item number: 169503
