Frankly, we're not sure. But no matter, this super Tuscan has caught the eye of critics, and for lovers of this style of wine, this offers great value. Saeculum--Vintage 1999 Tuscany, Riseccoli In two six-bottle original cartons "Compelling, the opaque purple-colored 1999 Saeculum (a proprietary blend of 60 Sangiovese, 30 Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10 Merlot aged in 100 new French oak) offers spectacular aromas of jammy cherries, strawberry cream, and toasty oak. It is a full-bodied, layered, super-endowed offering with significant potential. There is plenty of glycerin, sweet tannin, and a 45-second finish in this terrific Tuscan red.
