Russell (minor cockling to mounts, otherwise fine). Publisher's black half morocco, spine gilt-lettered and -decorated, edges gilt (minor rubbing). FIRST EDITION. Russell's masterful photographs were taken along the line of the Pacific Railroad from Omaha to Sacramento. Russell's images depict not only natural subjects but man-made structures in Wyoming, Utah and California. A FINE COPY of a book often found foxed. Sabin 31007.
