FIRST EDITIONS, 3vols, 8vo (224 x 140mm.), one hand-coloured aquatint title (lower margin shaved), 3 frontispieces, 75 plates and one tailpiece, all by Rowlandson, 8pp. publisher's advertisments at back of third work (plate numbered 12 in the first tour with very slight surface damage, some offsetting of plates onto text), later light brown polished calf by Riviere & Son, gilt, red and olive morocco lettering pieces on spines, g.e. A FINE SET. The first work has the text and the plate numbered 4 in their first states, in the second work the Skimmington Riders plate is in the second state. Tooley 427, 428 & 429. (3)
