An inaugural dinner was arranged by The Masquers (Colman was a member of this actor's club) to celebrate Academy Award winners and he and Edmund Gwenn (who won a 'Best Supporting Actor' Oscar for "Miracle on 34th Street" the same year) were the first to be honored. Colman's own program from the event is included as are his newspaper clippings which outline a bawdy, roast-style function attended by a males-only 'A' list of Hollywood personalities from that era. 3 1/2 x 10 x 2 inches
