Original red morocco-backed green cloth boards lettered and decorated in gilt (extremities rubbed, lightly stained). With S. C. Hall's The Baronial Halls and Picturesque Edifices of England (London, 1848, 2 vols.), J. Bernard Burke's The Historic Lands of England (London, 1849), and Francis Orpen Morris's A Series of Picturesque Views of Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland (London, [n.d.], 6 vols.).
