Francis Orpen) A History of British Birds, 6 vol., fourth edition, half-titles, 394 hand-coloured plates, scattered faint spotting, original pictorial cloth, gilt, uncut, slightly rubbed, a little fraying at spine ends, overall a very good set, 1895-97 § Scott (Peter) Wild Chorus, one of 1200 copies signed by the author, plates by Scott (most colour), original buckram, gilt, t.e.g., uncut, pictorial dust-jacket, a little spotted, spine darkened, nicked and with short closed tears at spine ends and fore-corners, a little loss to upper edges, slip-case, worn and damp affected, 1938 § Vaurie (Charles) Tibet and its Birds, one of 65 copies signed by the author, 1972 § Watkins (Watkin) The Birds of Tennyson, signed presentation copy from the author, and with 3 of his original ink drawings tipped in, 1903, illustrations, last two half morocco, last rubbed; and c.20 others, Birds, (c.29)
