Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn Self-Portrait with plumed Cap and lowered Sabre (B., Holl. 23; H. 110) etching, 1634, third, final state, after the plate had been reduced to an oval, a good impression with minimal wear to the densely etched areas, watermark Basel Crosier (cf. Ash and Fletcher 11 A.b.), with margins, some very pale discoloration, minor soft creasing at the left sheet edge (where hinged verso ), a small brown stain on the reverse, otherwise in good condition P. 130 x 105 mm., S. 136 x 110 mm.
