Half-titles in English and French on rectos with English titles to versos, additional titles in French on rectos with versos blank. Titles printed in red and black. Text in English and French. Engraved frontispiece and 58 engraved plates. (Pl. VI & VII with old tape repairs, occasional very light spotting and offsetting.) Contemporary half russia over marbled paper covered baords, marbled endpapers and edges (extremities lightly rubbed).
