Description: Rare Third Reich SA 1935 Shooting Prize Dress Dagger by E P & S Solingen, good untouched example of a SA dress dagger with the grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Reverse of the lower cross guard is stamped with gau mark letter “B”. Housed in its original anodised scabbard with nickel silver top and lower mounts. The blade has standard motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” to one side and the other side is engraved with a four line presentation dedication in German script, “1. Schiespreis der S.A. ceim Winter hilfswerkschiesen der Kriegerkamenadsch Dabringhausen am 24.11.1935 Wehrsport cuhse 6mm 12-Ringscheibe 5 Schusse : 59 Ringe”. To the side of the inscription is the trademark for E P & S Solingen. Some staining and wear to the blade but generally a good example. Blade measures 21 ½ cms, overall 36 ½ cms.
