Quarter plate daguerreotype of a group of six, housed in a pressed paper case, separated at the spine. Condition: Some green oxidation (?)/spotting just to right of woman's nose seated at center. Plate includes few faint horizontal scratches, as well as short scratches along perimeter where plate meets mat. Clarity very good. The image is housed in a full case, although it is fully separated at hinge and case shows surface abrasions throughout.
