A triangular-bladed display dagger with incised motifs of a hare to one face and dog with fish to the reverse; the hilt with scenes of predation on the sides and curved ram's-head finial; the scabbard with a repoussé scene of two rams and a ewe to one face, a lion chasing a goat to the reverse. Silver and steel, 200 grams, 28 cm. Fine condition. Provenance Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's.
