Amsterdam, [1606 or later]. Double-page engraved map (16 x 21 in.; 406 x 534 mm, sight), contemporary handcoloring; light marginal spotting and soiling, small hole in lower blank margin. Glazed and framed. The first map devoted to the North Pole, second state. Burden 88. Blaeu, Willem & Jan. Regiones sub Polo Arctico. Amsterdam, [1645]. Engraved double-page map (17 3/4 x 22 in.; 450 x 560 mm), contemporary handcoloring; dampstain in lower right corner affecting image, small tear in lower margin entering printed frame.
