Supplement, 1568. A reprint of Francisco de Herrera Maldonado's Spanish translation, originally published in 1620. In the seventeenth century alone the work ran into a total of nineteen editions in six languages. No work about Asia had a greater impact on 17th century European literature than Pinto's account of his adventures in the East.
