Lot of 8 photographs, many of which are mounted on card stock, ranging in size from 5.25 x 3.375 in. to 8.5 x 6.5 in. Collection features individuals posing with phonographs and turntable record players in both interior and exterior spaces. Images of note include a bald man in a suit pictured with a massive phonograph with three shiny horns; a man in suspenders standing in an outdoor clearing with a long-horned phonograph resting on top of a barrel, inscribed on verso: "Thomas. / Augst. 3, 1900 / Victor Victrola / Horn Held with Stand"; a well-dressed man holding a hat who appears lost in thought, with his right hand resting lightly on the the base of a phonograph, the horn of which as been painted with floral designs; and a man assisting a female customer in an early record store, the shelves of which are lined with un-sleeved discs.
