Persian manuscript on paper, 321 leaves, plus 2 fly-leaves, 18 lines to the page written in black nasta'liq arranged in two columns in a central panel within gold floral intercolumnar rules, approximately 46 lines of black nasta'liq written diagonally in the outer panel, titles in red on gold panels, ruled in black and gold, six bifolia fully illuminated in gold and polychrome, with twenty-nine illustrations, each page with illuminated cartouches in margins, floral lacquer binding, lacquer doublures
21.6 by 14.1cm.Condition reportIn good condition overall. The folios are generally clean with minor, small stains and light creases. Illustrations in good condition overall, one with smudging to the upper right. Some minor rubbing to the marginal illuminated cartouches. Fly-leaf with book plates is mostly loose and would benefit from consolidation. Binding is stable with small losses to the lacquer, as viewed.
