Docketed on the verso, and with sealed note signed by Charles Brockden of the Office of Recording Deeds. Condition : wax seal chipped and paper torn with some losses. deed signed by thomas penn for a prime piece of philadelphia real estate issued to isaac norris. This deed confirms the purchase of a 22,000 square foot plot on Front Street between Chestnut and Walnut. The alley that ran alongside that tract would become known as Norris Alley (now Sansom Street).
