Retailed by Spaulding & Co., Chicago Date: 1892 Movement: Jeweled 18'" manual winding with indirect seconds, lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, bimetallic balance, overcoiled spring, snail cam precision regulator, stem wound and set, no. 94456 Dial: Régence style gilt chased with scrolls, blue roman chapters on oval white enamel reserves, gilt pierced Louis XV hands, (lacking sweep seconds hand) Case: The outer surface of the lid captioned "S. Georgius Equitatum Patronus" depicting the mounted knight, the inner surface captioned "In Tempestate Securitas" depicting a ship tossed on a stormy sea, silver cuvette, no. 210068 Signed: By retailer on movement and cuvette Size: 49mm Accompaniments: White gold filled open link chain.
