Davidson Herron at Oakmont Country Club, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Herron would ultimately win the tournament. The two prints are joined on the rear and with Levick's studio stamp. Description in pencil on the reverse: "The Final. Herron & Jones at the 9th Green showing the tremendous gallery that followed the game." Formerly in the collection of famed golf course architect Perry Maxwell. Lot Amendments Condition: A bit of wear, one corner chipped; very good. Item number: 279332
