The book deals primarily with "the Kleve Divorce" which caused an uproar in the Jewish world during that period. In the original edition of this copy clauses 34-36 which contain harsh expressions against scholars of Frankfurt am Main were omitted. Chapter 33 was printed with many changes. In this copy harsh expressions were censored by pasting snippets of paper containing more delicate expressions over the original text. 31, 33-66, 69-120 leaves. 20 cm. Good condition, spotting. Damaged binding.
