Nine late 18th/early 19th century Oval bust profile portraits of gentlemen on plaster by John Miers (1771 -1841), John Field (1756 - 1821) and Mary Lightfoot (1750 -1837) the first portrait attributed to Field looking to dexter wearing a coat with bronzed highlights, the two attributable to Miers both looking to dexter in black comprising a profile of Mr M. Nichen looking wearing robes and mortar board, one depicting a profile of General Maxwell looking to dexter with shaded bronzed highlights, the portraits of Mr Nichen and Rev. Tuckerare two of the few plain black examples by Miers or Fields. the portrait of Admiral Nicholls facing dexter, the others comprising a portrait of a gentleman facing dexter wearing spectacles, another portrait facing dexter and a portrait of William Briggs facing sinister, all in papier mache rectangular frames, the Lightfoot profile depicting a gentleman facing dexter, the rear with printed trade label in oval gilt metal frame, The Lightfoot portrait, 8.5cm x 6.5cm, the Miers and Field portraits, 8cm x 6cm approximately .
