Provenance: A son of the Danish Consul General of Lithuania 1926–1928 and landlord Hjalmar Hartmann (1870–1945), founder and owner of the company Hjalmar Hartmann & Co. The company was based on seed breeding, import and export of seeds, plants and trees.
