Provenance : William Stirling of Kier (bookplates); purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 28 April 1960. FIRST EDITION of Stothard's ornamental alphabet originally issued in wrappers and printed on laid paper, although a few copies were printed on India paper. Keynes 90.
