Hannaux, 1910"), surrounded by the legend "Narcisse Leven Pt de L'Alliance Israelite Universelle". Reverse: signed allegorical relief - a woman facing an easel portraying the Tables of the Law, clasped hands and the Hebrew word "Echad" [one] - the emblem of the organization - surrounded by the legend "Alliance Israélite Universelle, 1860-1910". Diameter: 59 mm. Narcisse Leven (1833-1915), French Jewish lawyer and activist, founded Alliance Israélite Universelle with Adolphe Cremieux and others. He served as the organization's secretary general. During 1883-1898 he served as vice president of the organization, and was appointed president in 1898. 2. Bronze medal in memory of Adolphe Cremieux. [France], 1881. Made by Alfred Borrel Obverse: relief profile portrait of Cremieux (signed "A. Borrel 1881") with his name. Reverse: French legend within a wreath. Diameter: 67 mm. Adolphe Cremieux (1796-1880), French-Jewish statesman, served as French minister of justice and was one of the founders of Alliance Israélite Universelle. 3. Small pendant. Obverse: portrait of Adolphe Cremieux with the French legend "Citoyen [citizen] Cremieux".
