Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 94 Wells Fargo & Co. Commemorative lever action saddle ring carbine with box. Made 1977. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel, with "Wells Fargo & Co. 1852-1977" marked on the right side of the barrel. Laser etched receiver with "W.F.&CO." marked on the right side over a store front scene, followed by the dates "1852-1877". Laser engraved scene of a stage coach on the left side of the frame. Upper tang is marked "MODEL 1894/WINCHESTER" Commemorative coin in the right side of the stock. Winchester proof on the barrel. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear. Blued finish on the metal components, minus the receiver which is finely polished. Oil finished wood stock with fine checkering on the wrist and forearm. Smooth blued finish metal butt plate. Includes serial matching Styrofoam box with sleeve, papers and hang tag. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finishes with a few handling marks. Stock is excellent. Bore is shiny and crisp. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. (B) Winchester Model 94 Cheyenne Carbine Commemorative lever action saddle ring carbine with box. Made 1977 mostly for the Canadian market. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel with "Cheyenne Carbine" marked on the right. Scenes of Cheyenne Indians etched on both side of the frame. Gold commemorative coin on the right side of the stock. Winchester proofs on the barrel. Round, steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and buck horn style u-notch rear. Factory tang sight mounted. Gold plated bands, lever and frame, while the balance of metal parts are blued. Smooth oil finished wood stock and forearm with beads tacked on each side of the forearm. Blued steel metal butt plate. Includes serial matching Styrofoam box with sleeve, papers and hang tag. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finishes with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Box is very good, with tears to the edges of the sleeve.
