Beschreibung:

Lot consists of: (A) WWII US Army first pattern herringbone twill jacket with pleated diagonal edge pockets and side buckle adjustments on waistband. The jacket still retains one of its original manufacture tags. On the inside collar, it is stamped "42L" and there is a partial laundry number present that reads "0288". CONDITION: The jacket retains all of its original 13 star buttons. The gas flap is missing, which is not uncommon with these jackets. There are no visible rips or tears and the jacket appears almost unworn. Overall excellent. (B) Rare pair of 1943 US Army herringbone twill frogskin camouflage combat trousers with large cargo pockets, suspender buttons, and reinforced knees. The original tag has been washed out and is now illegible. The trousers retain their original size tag that reads "W34" and are also stamped "34" twice in the waist. There is a laundry number that reads "N9690" stamped twice on the outer waist next to the beltloops. CONDITION: The trousers still retain all of their plastic buttons and suffer no rips or tears. There are slight stains throughout the trousers and the colors have faded over time. (C) Two US Army OD green T-shirts. CONDITION: The shirts show no rips or tears and have staining, most likely from sweat, in the typical places. (D) US Army boxer shorts dated "5 FEB. 1953" and stamped size medium. CONDITION: Shorts show typical tarnishing, all snaps in the button fly are functioning. (E) Three US Army handkerchiefs, all display typical blemishes but are otherwise in good condition. (F) Four US Army wool socks all in good condition. JD Item Dimensions: 25" x 16" x 5" Name Value Paperwork
