A near complete set of the publications of the Birmingham School of Printing from 1926 to 1953, as against that recorded in The Catalogue of Books, City of Birmingham School of Printing, 1925-1946 and the subsequent supplement 1946-1953, the publications under the direction of Leonard Jay, the majority being limited editions of very small issues, all finely printed on good quality or handmade paper, many with coloured and other illustrations, some with initial letters in colour, comprising 150 volumes and 32 supplements, 182 in all, bound in original cloth or wrappers, 8vo, 4to, and folio, Birmimgham, 1926-1953, together with four of the five books personally produced by Leonard Jay namely : 1943, Sermon of the Plough (Ltd. Edn. of 65 copies, with gold Q for the lower special edn. of 15); 1944, The Rape of the Lock (Ltd. Edn. of 65 copies); 1944, Hand and Soul (Ltd. Edn. of 65 copies); 1945, Ballads of Old Birmingham (Ltd. Edn. of 65 copies); & Wallis (L.W.)
