Till recently these Trading vessels could be seen passing up Dublin Bay a couple of times weekly, originally ... under sail but for the last ten years or so powered by engine. One of them was used in the film of Moby Dick”. A similar work is in the collection of the National Gallery (NGI 7298) and was used as an illustration in Vanishing Dublin more
