Large American Weight Driven Banjo Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial reads "Regulator", black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, heavy cut steel hands; quality brass 8 day weight driven movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, long steel pendulum rod, heavy brass covered bob, brass pulley, large iron weight, and wooden weight baffle with brass beat indicator plaque. Walnut banjo style case with flanged door bezel, hinged throat with inset walnut panel and lower door with original reverse painted black & gold leaf tablet; case is in a worn original finish with remnants of rosewood grain painting, tablet and throat panel are in good condition, lower section of the case has 2 chips in the interior at the joints from the weight falling through the bottom and back board is split, missing seconds hand, dial holes have been plugged and re-drilled, has door key & crank. 50 in. high x 20 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
