Matsumura Keibun was the younger brother of Goshun, who was a student of the renowned Maruyama Okyo, who then together later founded the famous Shijo School in Kyoto. Keibun and successors refined the style further. Signed Keibun 景 文 and red seal Keibun no In (seal of ...). Very good condition, Brocade mounting, ivory rollers, in casket. Dimensions: SCROLL SIZE 202 x 50 CM, IMAGE SIZE 113 x 37 CM Condition: Very good condition Provenance: Austrian-Japanese private collection
