Jim LaMarche lives in Santa Cruz with his family. He has several children's books to his name. His illustrated edition of Rainbabies, by Laura Krauss Melmed, was twice nominated for the ABBY Award and was the 1994 winner of the Bolgona Book Fair Graphics Prize. Little Oh made Child's Magazine Best Books List of 1997, and both Mandy and The Carousel were a AB Picks of the Lists.
