Mit einer ausklappbaren Landkarte des Heiligen Landes, doppelblattgroßen biblischen Genealogien, ornamentalen Titelvignetten und Holzschnitt-Initialen. Erster Teil 432 S., zweiter Teil 307 S., Index ca. 230 S., nicht paginiert. Nicht kollationiert. Lederband der Zeit mit reicher Rückenvergoldung und rötlichem Schnitt.

Provenienz: Bibliothek des letzten Basler Fürstbischofs Franz Xaver von Neveu (1749 - 1828); nach dessen Tod übergegangen in den Privatbesitz der Familie von Neveu, Durbach.

Zustandsbericht:
Guter Zustand. Kaum gebräunt, stellenweise stockfleckig, handschriftlicher Besitzvermerk auf der Titelseite, Exlibris auf dem Anklebevorsatz. Einband ber., angestaubt, stark beschabt, Rücken leicht rissig und stellenweise mit kl. Wurmlöchern.

With a folding map of the Holy Land, doublepage biblical genealogies, ornamental title vignettes and woodcut initials. First part 432 p., second part 307 p., index circa 230 p., not paginated. Not collated. Contemporary calf with rich gilt decoration on spine and reddish edges.

Provenance: Library of the last Prince-Bishop of Basel Franz Xaver von Neveu (1749 - 1828); after his death it became private property of the family of Neveu, Durbach.

Condition report:
Good condition. Very little browning, here and there foxed, handwritten annotation of former owner on the title page, ex libris on the pastedown. Binding rubbed, dusty, considerably scraped, spine slightly brittle as well as here and there with small wormholes.
