Cincinnati (OH): Moore, Wilstach, Keys & Co., 1855. 12mo, embossed cloth, gilt spine, folding map frontis, 216pp. Water damage throughout, which has slightly warped the front board, wrinkled pages, but other than the water stains, very little toning. Mechem, Kirke, ed. The Kansas Historical Quarterly. Topeka: Kansas State Historical Society, 1935, vol. IV. Kansas Historical Collections, Vol. XXI. 8vo, blue cloth with gilt spine, 463pp. Number 2 (pp. 115-148) has an article on A Journey Through Kansas (above), which the author calls "the second book on Kansas." Shelf wear and corner bumping; slight sunning of spine and soiling. Very light toning of leaves. Overall very good.
