Rare booklet promoting this camp for girls in the Sierra National Forest, for the "Seventh Season, June 29 to August 10, 1929, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Camp, Ages 9 to 19 Years." There are numerous illustrations from photographs, and a sketch map showing the camp and its location 72 miles northeast of Fresno. At the end of the booklet is a list of the girls who have attended the camp, with their parents and residence. Miss Ruth M. Huntington, the founder of the Lake Huntington Camp for Girls, committed suicide in 1932. She left $25.000 estate. Mrs. Edwin Howard Walter of Redwood City, and Mrs. Herbert Little of Ojai were given the Lake Huntington camp. OCLC/WorldCat lists only one copy, at the University of California Berkeley.
