Hinges going, some water damage, wear to covers, a few margin tears to front pages. Goodrich, Charles A. A History of the Untied States of America. Hartford: Barber & Robinson, 1824. 12mo, full leather, 400pp. Some water damage, wear to boards. Goodrich, Charles A. A History of the United States of America, on a Plan adapted to the Capacity of Youth and Designed to Aid the Memory. Fellows Falls: James I. Cutler and Co., 1834. 16mo, half leather and paper over wood, 296pp, with 20 pp of questions following. Boards in rough condition, minor foxing. Walpole, B.C. The Life of the Late Right Honorable Charles James Fox; Exhibiting a Faithful Account of the most Remarkable events of his Political Career, and a Delineation of his Character.... New York: E. Duyckinck, 1811. 24mo, half leather, paper boards, 144pp. Fox was a British statesman who was one of the few supporting the American Revolution and later the French Revolution, calling the storming of the Bastille "... the greatest event ... that ever happened in the world!" Boards rough, with some insect damage to spine. Moderate toning, but this was printed as a temporary pamphlet, and is in good condition for the poor materials originally used. Smucker, Samuel M. The Life of Col. John Charles Fremont, and His Narrative of Explorations and Adventures in Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon and California. New York: Miller, Orton & Mulligan, 1856. 12mo, blue embossed cloth, gilt spine, 493pp plus 3pp ads. Spine sunned, moderate wear to boards, leaves clean.
