Nell'angolo a destra sotto la firma è applicata una tessera di mosaico, probabile prova di colore. Si conosce un'altra opera simile a questa, con stesse caratteristiche di soggetto e dimensioni, riprodotta sul catalogo ragionato di Gino Severini Ed. Mondadori, 1988, p. 508, n. 814. .
