Arranged in a photograph album with additional larger loose pages we shall mention a few items simply in the order they are displayed: 1866 6d Officers rate env England to Gibraltar; two 1900 envs from HMS Earnest sent from Malta to UK; Naval Service and Concession Rate cachets; "Tombstone" censor marks on WWII Gibraltar and Straits Settlements mail; HMS Melita 1895 - 1898 covers from Malta & Br Levant; 1894-1907 selection of covers from HMS Foxhound & Albemarle from Gibraltar; a range of various WWI - era "Received from H.M. Ship / No Charge To Be Raised" cachets; a rather impressive group of 'dumb' type cancellations; photo postcards of ships accompanied by covers & pieces with cachets from those ships; 1986 cover signed by the Captain of HMS Sheffield (lost Falklands 1982); 1897 Ceylon to HMS Kamilies at Malta; 1941 HMS Malaya "First British Man - of - war to enter American Navy Yard for repairs" illustrated cover with stamp tied by ships cachet; a range of different censor cachets which actually name the ships (seems kind of pointless...); 1871 attractive mourning cover from GB to HMS Pylades at Gibraltar; plenty of interesting 19th & Century cachets; an interesting 1982 letter from HMS Invincible at the Falkland Is which includes stikes of various cachets including previously unknown seized Argentine handstamps; an amusing signed "Last Day of Rum" cover (31st July 1970); 1942 Polish Forces in Exile stamps on cover with Royal Navy censor; 1933 env and letter from HMS Tamar at Hong Kong with detailed letter of what the attractive young Chinese girls are wearing (he sounds lonely); a series of attractive illustrated covers posted at Bermuda during 1936 - 1938 from various R.N. ships; 1914 large cover bearing 100 Spanish stamps sent to England with letter inside from HMS Conqueror at Gibraltar PLUS MUCH MORE.
