Lot of 16 GAR medals. One three part representative medal from the 50th encampment of OH, in Marion, 1916; a red white and blue printed Mt. Vernon, OH printed with a round copper medallion inscribed Dept. Ohio 1898; a two part medal with a mint condition silver medal with Col. Lorin Andrews, the first Civil War OH soldier, 1898; a two part copper or bronze medal from Chillicothe, OH with the first governor of OH, Edward Tiffin, 1897; silver two part GAR medal commemorating the state's centennial; a bronze or copper delegate badge from the 37th encampment in Marietta, 1903; a 55th encampment two part delegate badge commemorating The Treaty of Greenville from the meeting in Greenville, OH, 1921; Yellow Mt. Vernon ribbon with a leather circular badge, 1897; two 1883 women's relief corps badges; a three part representative medal with a star engraved with a portrait of U.S. Grant and a scene of his childhood home in Cincinnati and a second bronze star with a bust portrait of Edwin J. Foster with a yellow ribbon, 1930; a two part representative medal from Mansfield, OH with a depiction of Maj. McLaughlin, on its reverse is the soldier and sailor memorial in Mansfield, 1915; a 1908 souvenir badge in great condition from the 42nd encampment with an engraved scene of the Civil War memorial building surrounded by scrolling and oak leaves; a two part delegate medal from the 24th encampment with a union shield engraved with a bust of Gen. S.H. Hurst; two part bronze medal from 1895 has a decorative pin back with the date and a circular medal with an intricate sinking life boat scene the medal is from the 29th encampment at Sandusky, OH; the last is a two part representative medal in mint condition from the 1918 annual encampment in Hamilton, OH, the medal has an engraving of the soldier, sailors, and pioneers monument in the city. Condition: All the medals are in good condition. the 1888 centennial badge has some soiling on its metal, the 1898 Mt. Vernon badge has some wear on its leather medal.
