Large woodcut arms on title, numerous woodcuts in text, of which 64 are with volvelles, additional table and small manuscript constellation tipped in. (Title laid down, lacks some leaves of table, some volvelles skilfully restored, some parts possibly in facsimile.) Modern leather gilt. FIRST EDITION IN SPANISH of this beautifully illustrated book. The work presents the 48 maps of the Ptolemaic constellations and shows a beautiful collection of mythological figures. The star positions were taken from Copernicus's catalogue. Palau 96931.
