A fine 18 carat gold minute repeating perpetual calendar and moonphase keyless hunter pocketwatch with retrograde date indication Signed French, Royal Exchange, London, No. 23394, 1910s The nickel plated bar movement jewelled to the hammers repeating hours, quarters and minutes by operating a slide in the band, bimetallic balance and wolf-tooth winding, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for running seconds, day and month, sector for the moon with lunar calendar and retrograde date indication on a sector with central date hand, blued steel spade hands, in hunter case with chased and engraved rims to the covers and to the band, hinged cuvette and movement under glass, dial and movement signed and numbered 53 mm. diam.
