Calcutta, 1796, 1799. Plate 1 in the book and titled European Buildings in Calcutta. The etching, on incredibly fine paper, has at some point been laid to another sheet of paper to protect it. A small section of the sky in the etching is missing to the top right and corner. This can be seen in the image. The condition of this print highlights its rarity and history.
