Four Sumerian cuneiform inscribed clay tablets Third Dynasty of Ur, circa 2060-2020 B.C. Each an administrative document, the largest tablet recording smaller domestic animals; another dated to the reign of king Shu-sin regarding the delivery of six oxen, 45mm x 38mm; a tablet dated to the reign of King Amar-Suena concerning the delivery of smaller domestic animals, 35mm x 33mm; and another regarding domestic animals, ranging from 33mm-57mm high; and four Near Eastern seals, a haematite cylinder seal engraved with a standing god holding a rod facing a god with a mace, with a crescent between and a standing goddess, in a modern gold mount, Old Babylonian, 1900-1700 B.C., 23mm high; a Babylonian schist seal engraved with a deity in combat with a rampant lion and another in combat with a bull, 35mm high; and two Sasanian stamp seals, an agate seal engraved with a wolf and carnelian example with a scorpion, circa 3rd-6th Century A.D. 15mm and 25mm long; and a small Mesopotamian shell amulet of a couchant animal decorated with drilled circles indicating the eyes and fur, circa 3000 B.C., 1in (2.5cm) long (9)
