Contemporary polished brown calf, worn, on upper covers traces of erased or faded text, probably related to the "Chateau de Chemilly", gilt borders, gilt inner borders, gilt edges of covers, cracks in the joints, richly gilt spines in seven compartments, partly some smaller damages at head and foot, red edges. Endpapers and some of the last leaves dampstained in inner margins. Otherwise some foxing and staining, a few leaves browned. 3 volumes.
